Shivajinagar - Bank of Maharashtra, Pune: meet the BookNTrek team at the pickup point and begin the journey towards Sondai Fort.
Aundh - Bremen Friendship Chowk: pickup and continue towards the next point.
Nashik Phata - Bus Stand: final Pune pickup point before continuing towards Sondai Fort.
Reach base village and freshen up.
Breakfast and tea before beginning the trek.
Trek begins after a safety briefing from the trek leader. A beginner-friendly trail, especially scenic during the monsoon with lush greenery and valley views.
Reach Sondai Fort summit -- visit the Sondai Devi shrine and the fixed iron ladder section, and enjoy panoramic views of Morbe Dam, Matheran Range, Prabalgad, Irshalgad, Rajmachi and Karnala.
Begin descent towards the base village.
Reach base village, complete the trek and freshen up.
Lunch -- a wholesome vegetarian thali -- before the return journey.
Depart for Pune from the base village.
